With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creative media, my designs not only enhance aesthetic appeal but also effectively communicate key messages.

My portfolio showcases projects like 'Ember: Reigniting Radiance in Menopausal Women', reflecting our commitment to captivating visual storytelling.

My Story

This site serves as both my media studies work gallery and graphic design portfolio, originally developed as part of my university project in Social Media, Advertising & Branding. What began as an academic brief quickly evolved into something more ambitious, an idea I had been developing for months that has since grown into my personal brand and creative direction moving forward.

I have a strong interest in social media marketing and the strategic thinking behind digital campaigns, alongside a specialism in crafting unique, visually captivating content designed to inspire emerging media creatives while showcasing my own creative journey. My passion for design began at the age of twelve, when I started creating thumbnails for my video editing page on Instagram, sparking an early understanding of how visual content performs on social platforms. Since then, that curiosity has only grown stronger. I’ve always been fascinated by how art and media intersect to communicate complex ideas with impact and elegance, and this site gives me an opportunity to reflect this and inspire other creatives.

Education & Experience

I’ve been immersed in Media Studies from the age of 13, beginning at GCSE level and later developing through A-Level Media Studies. It was at A-Level that I first gained the opportunity to explore graphic design through professional software - an experience that fuelled my interest and encouraged me to continue developing my skills independently outside of the classroom.

Most recently, I completed my BA (Hons) in Media and Communication at the University of Winchester, graduating with First Class Honours. During my time at university, I was able to further explore my passion for branding and marketing through a range of design projects, some of which were selected for use in official promotional materials. I also had the opportunity to be commissioned to design promotional posters for university social events, and I have since gone on to collaborate with established organisations such as the Winchester Film Festival, creating marketing material for wider audiences beyond the classroom.

While I’ve had moments of guidance through education, much of my practice in branding, marketing and social media is self-taught. I’m continually experimenting, developing, and learning new skills to refine my craft and grow as a designer.

This portfolio is a reflection of that journey, thank you for taking the time to explore my work, and I hope it inspires you as much as the process of creating it inspires me.

Sensibility Magazine, 2021-2022

Writer

During my A-Level studies, I was proud to be part of Sensibility Magazine, a monthly, student-run art, media, and fashion publication at Peter Symonds College. Although my main role was as a writer, I was constantly inspired by the graphics team and gained early insight into design processes. This experience taught me the importance of collaboration, time management, and working to deadlines, while also sparking my deeper interest in pursuing design more seriously.

University of Winchester Promotional Materials, 2022 - 2025

Designer

From January to May 2023, I undertook a Digital Publishing module at the University of Winchester, where the brief was to design a poster encapsulating “Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Winchester.” This project marked only my second time working with professional graphic design software, yet it gave me the opportunity to develop essential skills such as working with brand guidelines, managing a creative project, and refining my technical abilities. Shortly after completion, I was approached for my design to be used in the University’s official promotional material - a milestone in my creative journey and one of my earliest professional-style design achievements.

I have designed several event posters for the University of Winchester’s School of Media & Film, including the Winter Party in November 2023. I was sought after  to create the event’s primary promotional poster and was given full creative freedom to develop the concept. This enabled me to explore innovative design approaches while ensuring the final outcome remained consistent with the University’s branding guidelines. The project required a careful balance between creativity and structure, resulting in a visually compelling piece of promotional material that resonated strongly with students.

In addition, I designed the department’s Halloween Party poster in 2024, further demonstrating my ability to deliver engaging, brand-aligned visual communications for student-focused events.

The Hampshire Chronicle, 2023

Journalist

In August 2023, I undertook a journalism-based work placement with The Hampshire Chronicle in Winchester. While not directly linked to design, this experience helped me build transferable skills such as professional communication, adapting language for different audiences, photographing for articles and writing effectively - all of which now support my social media presence and the way I articulate design concepts. I am proud to have several published articles under my name, which can also be found in my portfolio.

During this time, experience was gained across a diverse range of reporting environments. This included covering a live court case from the press box, writing news coverage on a traffic incident, requiring interviewing victims, and writing clear and factual communication under time-sensitive conditions. Additional feature work included conducting a food review at the launch of Kyoto Kitchen, dishes were sampled, and the owner was interviewed. I also produced coverage for the renowned Boomtown Festival, involving interviews with guests, features on notable food vendors, and insight into what attendees could expect from the event.

Several published articles from this period are available within the portfolio.

International Women's Day, 2024

Designer

In March 2024, I was invited through university connections to design content for a Mother’s Day Exhibition for International Women’s Day, held at the Nutshell Art Gallery in Winchester. As part of the exhibition, my motherhood-inspired poster was showcased alongside my earlier Diversity and Inclusion poster from 2023.

Having my work displayed in a professional gallery setting, just a year after beginning my design journey, was a proud milestone that marked how far I had grown as a designer in such a short space of time.

Winchester Film Festival, 2024

Designer & Marketer

In 2024, I collaborated with the Winchester Film Festival on two occasions: February–March and October–November. Across both projects, I created posters, graphic assets, and social media content to promote their film screenings and events. Working with an established cultural organisation gave me the opportunity to refine my skills in professional client-based design, adapt to existing brand identities, and create visuals tailored to diverse audiences. These collaborations have been some of the most rewarding experiences in my design journey to date, allowing me to see my work represented in the wider community.

FK14 Development Centre

Videographer & Editor

In March 2026, I was invited to the FK14 Development Centre in Berkshire to capture social media content for their Instagram and TikTok platforms. The visit featured former England Lioness Fran Kirby, who led a Q&A session and supported training with the players. I was given the opportunity to take full creative direction of the project, allowing me to shape the content in a way that aligned with both the club’s identity and my own creative vision.

Building on this, I proactively conceptualised and produced four distinct video edits, each driven by a different narrative. These included a promotional piece to support the club’s visibility, a dynamic showcase of the players’ football skills, a video highlighting the club’s strong sense of community, and a feature centred on Fran Kirby’s visit. I led the entire process from planning and filming through to editing, making key creative decisions around structure, tone, and storytelling. Following the project, I was also asked to provide the raw footage for the club’s future use, of which has been used in their own editing capabilities, reflecting the ongoing value of the content captured.

This experience enabled me to demonstrate initiative, creativity, and versatility, resulting in a diverse and purposeful set of content. It was an invaluable opportunity and collaboration with a new organisation.
