My Portfolio

Welcome to my portfolio! Here you’ll find a curated selection of my work, ranging from graphic design and website projects to a glimpse into my TikTok content and digital media presence

I enjoy exploring different areas of visual communication and creativity, using each project as an opportunity to experiment with new styles, techniques, and ideas. I hope that this portfolio highlights both my professional collaborations and personal projects, showcasing my passion for design and digital media!

Video Content Creation

Over the past decade, I have developed a strong and evolving presence in social media and digital content creation. I began posting online in 2015 with a beauty-focused Instagram account, which sparked my long-term passion for creating and sharing content. Since then, my interest in digital media has continued to grow as I experiment with different formats, platforms, and approaches to developing my personal brand, which has led me to business and brand opportunities and collaborations. This ongoing engagement with social media has been a consistent driving force in my journey as a media professional, shaping both my creative practice and my understanding of digital audiences.

Previously known as @Designbymillie, this page began as a project for my University's Social Media, Advertising and Branding module, which inspired me to begin establishing myself as a professional media practitioner and designer.

Business Collaborations

FK14 Development Centre

In March 2026, I was invited to the FK14 Development Centre in Berkshire to create social media content for Instagram and TikTok, featuring former England Lioness Fran Kirby. Given full creative control, I led the project from concept to delivery, producing four videos with distinct narratives, including promotional, skills-based, community-focused, and a feature on Kirby’s visit. I managed filming, editing, and overall storytelling, and later provided raw footage for the club’s continued use, of which to my knowledge was used.

Website Design

Website design has been a small but enjoyable part of my creative practice over the years. My experience began during my GCSE studies, where I created a solo radio project that involved designing, branding, and launching my own fictional radio station. As part of the project, I built a website for the station and produced supporting audio clips to establish its identity.

At the University of Winchester, I had several opportunities to further explore website creation through academic projects. One of the most significant was during the Social Media, Advertising, and Branding module, where I developed my first personal brand, “designbymillie.” This project included a website showcasing my design and TikTok content and played an important role in shaping my identity as a media creative. I also created a blog-style site to document my creative process, reflections, and research throughout the project.

In my final year, I built another website for a Digital Journalism module titled “Popcorn and Plot Twists,” a pop culture platform focused on film, television, and fan communities. The project featured written articles, interviews, and a video interview, while allowing me to experiment with bold, retro-inspired design.

These projects allowed me to explore digital design, storytelling, and user experience, and remain some of the most enjoyable and formative experiences of my time at university.

Copywriting and Journalism

In 2023 I undertook a placement with the Hampshire Chronicle. During this time I gained valuable experience in journalism, reporting, and feature writing. Throughout this period I produced a range of published articles, covering topics such as Boomtown Festival, local food reviews, and other community news stories. This experience allowed me to develop my writing under real editorial conditions while learning how to report on varied topics quickly and accurately for a regional audience.
