Winchester Film Fest Marketing: Best British Shorts

This poster was created for Winchester Film Festival as part of their February to March 2024 programme. I was personally approached by the festival through a university connection to design marketing materials and printed handouts for the event, making this one of my first experiences working in a professional collaboration.

During a two-week period, the festival screened four films and hosted four events, each requiring promotional design. This particular poster was created for the third screening of the programme, Best British Shorts. It became my favourite design from the festival series, as I particularly enjoyed the visual direction and how the film-themed elements came together while still following the festival’s brand guidelines.

Since I was especially proud of this piece, I chose to develop it further outside of the original project scope by creating mockups and social media presentation squares to showcase the poster across my design portfolios and social media platforms. This enabled me to extend the life of this fun project and present my work in a more professional way.
